Payment API Overview

Provide information on the various types of payments made through Medfusion Pay to practices.
Patients can make the following types of payments using the Medfusion Patient Portal and practices can post those payments to the patient’s account.
  • Online Bill Payments made by the patient or charges to a patient’s credit/debit card as part of a budget payment plan.
  • Pay Now payments made by users without logging into the Medfusion Patient Portal
  • Virtual Card Swiper payments made by the practice on behalf of the patient
